Hi! My name is Andrew Clarke. I live in Darien, Connecticut and I’m married with 3 children. I’ve commuted into Manhattan for 5 years and before in London for many more years.
I’m a Christian and I believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe that he sent his son, Jesus, to die for our sins so we can be reconciled with God.
I also believe it’s important to have a personal relationship with God. A two-way conversation that allows me to listen carefully to him and for me to tell him my thoughts through prayer. I find this helps guide my life. My actions and my decisions. During the past 5 years I’ve read my Bible on the train and I have also followed a daily reading. As good as the readings are I began to wonder if there were any daily resources that could relate more to my work life and the issues and challenges I face. I researched and I couldn’t find anything so that’s why this blog exists! I hope that reading it helps you as much as it does for me when I write it. Thank you for taking the time out of your commute. God Bless!
